Laura Chavez founded Lark & Berry in London in 2017 after encountering lab-grown diamonds during her MBA at London Business School, and launched the brand at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2018 as a designer fine jewellery house using lab-grown diamonds exclusively. The brand's pieces have since been worn at the Met Gala, the Tony Awards, the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards, and the company is the subject of the London Business School case study Lark & Berry: The Diamond Disruptors (2023).
